Redmi Note 12 users are in for a treat as Xiaomi is set to roll out its much-awaited HyperOS update to the device. The 4G model of the Redmi Note 12 will soon be embracing the new operating system, marking a significant milestone since its launch.

This news was confirmed by GSMChina, a renowned publication, which uncovered HyperOS test builds for both the Redmi Note 12 4G and 4G NFC models. The internal HyperOS for the devices showcases firmware versions OS1.0.1.0.UMTMIXM and OS1.0.1.0.UMGMIXM.

Xiaomi has already added the update changelog to its internal test server, indicating that Redmi Note 12 users can anticipate the HyperOS 1.0 update soon. Notably, this upgrade positions the Redmi Note 12 as a potential pioneer in receiving the Android 14-based HyperOS globally.

The rollout is slated to kick off in mid-December, beginning with HyperOS Pilot Testers. Tech enthusiasts who are eager to get a sneak peek can apply to join the HyperOS Pilot program, ensuring early access to cutting-edge features. However, it is important to note that the pilot program may not be accessible in all regions, including Pakistan.

The Redmi Note 12 4G packs a Snapdragon 685 processor and sports a 6.67-inch Full HD OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup features a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera.

Fueling this device is a 5000mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging for quick and efficient top-ups.
