Following the launch of Samsung's latest Galaxy Z foldable flagship models, the tech giant's next objective is to usher in the next generation of its Galaxy S series, presumably titled the Galaxy S24 series. Recent leaks have shed light on Samsung's active development in this regard.
Today, an exciting development emerged as the all-new Galaxy S24 series made its appearance on the 3C Certification platform. This revelation divulged the anticipated charging capabilities of all the models within the upcoming flagship lineup.
Distinguishing between the various models becomes a breeze once you decode their model numbers. Commencing with the standard Galaxy S24, identified by the model number SM-S9210, it is set to support 25W charging (9V/2.7A), a consistent feature carried over from the previous Galaxy S23 model.
Next up are the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra, denoted by the model numbers SM-S9260 and SM-S9280, respectively. Both these models are primed to deliver swift charging speeds, with peak rates of 45W (11V/4.05A) and standard charging at 25W (9V/2.7A), mirroring their predecessors, the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Of note, it's worth highlighting that, in line with tradition, Samsung has opted not to include chargers within the packaging of these models.
According to earlier reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset, with Qualcomm expected to unveil it in November. This advanced chipset is speculated to feature a potent configuration: 1x Cortex-X4 Ultra-Core, 3x Cortex-A7XX P-Cores (high frequency), 3x Cortex-A7XX P-Cores (lower frequency), and 2x Cortex-A5XX E-Cores.
Furthermore, the flagship variant, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, may undergo a design shift by adopting a titanium frame to enhance its aesthetics. Additionally, subtle alterations in display sizes are anticipated across all models, while the battery capacity is slated for an upgrade in the initial two models, namely the Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra.
Anticipations are high that Samsung will unveil its much-anticipated Galaxy S24 series in early 2024.
