BlackBerry Evolve

The BlackBerry Evolve is an affordable entry-level smartphone by BlackBerry. The device is driven by an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, complemented by an Adreno 506. The BlackBerry Evolve runs Android 8.1 operating system. It is available in Black colour.

The BlackBerry Evolve boasts a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display featuring FHD, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It offers a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, providing 403 pixels per inch.

BlackBerry Evolve comes with 4GB of RAM and storage capacity of 64GB. The handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

As regards cameras, the BlackBerry Evolve comes with:

• A single camera on the front side comprising of 16MP. The aperture of the front camera lens is f/2.0.
• Some of the features of the front camera include Wide Angle, Face Unlock, Selfie Mode, and Portrait.
• A dual camera setup on the rear side featuring 13MP and 13MP sensors. The apertures of the rear camera lenses are f/3.1 and f/3.1.
• Some of the features of the back camera include Dual Tone Flash, PDAF, Panorama, HDR, Portrait, Time Lapse, and Slow Motion.

BlackBerry Evolve is backed by a 4000mAh Non-removable (Li-lon) battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. It also packs different sensors such as Accelerometer, gyro, fingerprint, proximity, and compass.

The BlackBerry Evolve weighs 170 grams and measures 6.26 x 3.00 x 0.33 inches (height x width x thickness). The build materials include Front (Glass), Back (Plastic) and Sides (Plastic).

The connectivity options of BlackBerry Evolve include Bluetooth (4.2), Wi-Fi, USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, and Hybrid Dual (Nano SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.
