There has been a lot of buzz around the Samsung Galaxy A56 and A36 recently, and last night, something exciting happened. The Galaxy A36 was listed on official websites, which means its launch is very close.

The BIS regulatory body has approved the Galaxy A36 with the model code SM-A366E/DS. This led us to official support pages for the phone on Samsung’s websites in Kazakhstan and Russia, confirming that the launch is near.

Key Details:

  • The A36 is a DS (Dual SIM) version, meaning it has two SIM slots.
  • Unfortunately, the listings don’t provide full details about the phone, so we’ve turned to Geekbench and rumors for more information.
  • Based on leaks, the A36 will feature a new camera design. The three individual camera lenses will now be part of a single camera island. Additionally, the bezels on the phone are thinner than before.
  • Geekbench has tested an A36 variant with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor (no official confirmation yet).
  • The phone will run on Android 15 and One UI 7.
  • A significant upgrade is the faster 45W charging speed, up from the previous 25W. However, the battery capacity remains the same at 5000mAh.

There’s still a lot we don’t know about the A36, but we expect more details to emerge before its official launch in March. Stay tuned for more updates!
