The highly anticipated Poco F7 Pro has officially secured certification from Thailand’s NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission), signaling that its global launch is just around the corner. This move follows the device’s appearance on Indonesia's SDPPI platform, where it was initially spotted under the model number 24117RK2CG. With the confirmation of its global variant through NBTC’s certification, tech enthusiasts worldwide can now eagerly await the debut of the latest addition to the Poco lineup.

While details about the F7 Pro remain scarce, previous leaks and speculations suggest the device will be based on Xiaomi’s Redmi K80. If these rumors hold true, the Poco F7 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 3200 nits of peak brightness, offering a premium viewing experience. Under the hood, it is anticipated to sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, placing it among the top contenders in the mid-range flagship segment.

In addition to the F7 Pro, Poco is rumored to launch the F7 Ultra variant for the first time. The F7 Ultra is believed to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro, possibly equipped with the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making it one of the most powerful devices in the market.

While most of the specifics surrounding the F7 Pro’s battery and camera remain unclear, the device is expected to feature fast charging capabilities, with some rumors pointing to 90W charging. Poco’s dedication to providing powerful yet affordable devices continues with the expected inclusion of a massive 7500mAh battery for extended use.

As for the official release, industry insiders are speculating a launch window around April 2025, making it a strong contender for the successor to the Poco F6 Pro. However, until more information becomes available, users are advised to take these details with caution as they await confirmation from Poco.

Poco's strategy of rebadging successful Redmi models has served them well in the past, and the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra could very well follow in the footsteps of previous Poco phones that have offered impressive performance at competitive prices.

Stay tuned for more updates as Poco gears up to unveil these highly anticipated devices in the coming months.
