Samsung is revamping its warranty policy for Enterprise Edition Galaxy devices slated for release in 2023. This policy shift is set to benefit customers significantly by providing an extended commercial warranty, irrespective of whether they opt for the Care+ package.

Formerly, Samsung had offered a two-year commercial warranty for Enterprise Edition devices. However, the company has recently unveiled its decision to extend this coverage to three years for specific devices released in 2023.

This policy adjustment will impact a range of devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A54, and the recently launched Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+.

Thanks to this alteration, Enterprise customers can now enjoy a grand total of four years of commercial warranty if they opt for a Samsung Care+ for Business plan alongside their devices.

The announcement of this extended warranty policy for Enterprise devices was made via Samsung's French newsroom portal. The Director of Professional Mobile Business at Samsung Electronics France emphasized,

This initiative reflects our commitment to providing the highest quality products and services to support the success of our business partners.

For more comprehensive details regarding the Enterprise Edition range, Samsung directs interested readers to their English Enterprise Edition portal. This suggests that the extended warranty policy may be applicable in multiple countries, extending beyond France. However, it's important to note that the implementation of this policy change could vary by market and may not be universally applicable to all regions where Samsung sells devices for enterprises.

In addition to the extended warranty, Enterprise Edition devices provide up to five years of security patches, a feature common among most commercial Galaxy phones and tablets today. They also offer free access to the Knox Suite for one year. The Knox Suite equips administrators with the tools required to secure, deploy, manage, and analyze Galaxy devices within their company's fleet, enhancing overall enterprise security and efficiency.
