Xiaomi 13T Series Launched

Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest smartphone lineup, the Xiaomi 13T series, at a captivating event in Berlin, Germany. The flagship series includes the Xiaomi 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro, both of which feature notable enhancements over their Chinese counterpart, the Redmi K60 Ultra. One standout feature is the addition of IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, marking a significant milestone for the T series.

Xiaomi 13T: Powerful Performance and Vivid Display

The Xiaomi 13T is powered by a cutting-edge 4nm Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset, a customized version of MediaTek's Dimensity 8200 platform, developed in collaboration with Xiaomi. Complementing this powerful processor is LPDDR5 RAM, available in 8 GB and 12 GB configurations, along with 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

At the heart of the device lies a stunning 6.67-inch OLED display, boasting a mesmerizing 144 Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and an impressive peak brightness of over 2,600 nits.

Photography enthusiasts will be delighted to know that the primary camera on the 13T features a 50 MP sensor with a substantial 1/1.28-inch sensor size, 1.22 μm individual pixel size, optical image stabilization (OIS), and a wide f/1.9 aperture.

The device also sports a dedicated "portrait" telephoto camera, sharing the same 50 MP sensor resolution and f/1.9 aperture but equipped with a 50mm equivalent lens. Completing the trio is a 12 MP ultrawide camera with a 15mm equivalent f/2.2 lens.

To enhance the photography experience, users can choose between two distinct Leica camera modes: "Leica Authentic Look" for realistic color reproduction or "Leica Vibrant Look" for a more vibrant and lively feel. Additionally, the Custom photographic styles introduced with the 13 Ultra are available in Pro mode.

On the front, a 20 MP selfie camera housed within a discreet punch hole awaits users. It's worth noting that the selfie camera lacks autofocus.

For power, the Xiaomi 13T boasts a robust 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging. While this represents a downgrade from the previous 12T's 120W charging rate, it still promises a swift 42-minute charge time from 0 to 100%.

The Xiaomi 13T offers a choice of three distinct colors: Meadow Green and Black, both featuring a glass back panel, and Alpine Blue, which boasts a BioComfort vegan leather finish. Prices for the Xiaomi 13T start at €650 for the 8/256 GB variant.

Xiaomi 13T Pro: Elevating Performance and Charging Speed

The Xiaomi 13T Pro shares many features with its sibling, including the captivating 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. However, it takes performance to the next level with the inclusion of the Dimensity 9200+ chipset.

Photography enthusiasts can also rejoice, as the 13T Pro retains the same high-quality camera setup: a triple-camera system featuring 50 MP + 50 MP + 12 MP Leica lenses and a 20 MP selfie camera.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro offers memory configurations of 12 GB or 16 GB of faster LPDDR5X RAM, coupled with UFS 4.0 storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, or a massive 1 TB.

One of the most remarkable distinctions is the charging speed, as the 13T Pro supports an astonishing 120W HyperCharge. This means that a mere 19 minutes is all it takes to charge the phone from empty to 100%.

Both the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro come equipped with dual speakers and support for Dolby Atmos Audio. They run on Android 13 with Xiaomi's MIUI 14 interface.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro is available in the same vibrant colors as its counterpart: Green, Black, and Vegan Leather Blue. Pricing for the 13T Pro starts at €800, with the base model featuring 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

With the introduction of the Xiaomi 13T series, Xiaomi continues to push the boundaries of smartphone technology, offering a compelling blend of performance, photography capabilities, and stunning displays to cater to a wide range of user preferences.
