Realme 10 Pro is an affordable mid-range smartphone that packs a powerful punch. The device has a solid design, a better display, and powerful battery life. It also features an impressive 108MP camera sensor, which is a major upgrade from the 64MP sensor found on its predecessor, the Realme 9 Pro. However, the exclusion of a macro and ultrawide camera is not a big deal as these cameras do not provide meaningful value to the overall user experience in this price range.

The device's design and ergonomics have undergone significant changes compared to the previous generation. The flat and sharp edges are more in line with the current design trends in the smartphone industry.

The device is also lighter, weighing less than 200 grams, which is quite impressive for a smartphone with a 6.7-inch display. The back panel features a brushed matte finish and has a Nebula Blue color with an interesting hue pattern.

The Realme 10 Pro features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a standard 1080 x 2400px resolution and runs at 120Hz. While it's not an OLED display, the high-quality IPS LCD panel is still a major improvement compared to some rivals.

The Realme 10 Pro's main camera is a standout feature, boasting a 108MP sensor that is rare to find in this price range. The 16MP selfie camera on the front also performs well. However, the video recording capabilities are limited to 1080p@60fps, and the Ultra Steady mode does not make a meaningful difference compared to the standard video recording mode.

The Realme 10 series is one of the first non-Pixel smartphones to run Android 13 out of the box. The Realme UI 4.0 offers a modern yet clean take on Android, with a few new aesthetics and some minor features. The most notable improvement is the new Aquamorphic theme, which looks and feels a lot like Realme 3.0

The Realme 10 Pro faces tough competition in the mid-range segment, with several competitors offering better specs and features at similar or slightly higher prices. The Realme 9 Pro+ is a superior option with a better OLED panel, a more powerful Dimensity 920 SoC with 4K video recording, a larger 50MP sensor with OIS, and faster 60W charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 offers an excellent 120Hz OLED panel, a competent camera setup, and a better build with Gorilla Glass 5, IP67 certification. The OnePlus Nord 2T offers a smaller size, OxygenOS, a flagship-grade 50MP main camera, and fast 80W charging. Notably, Realme 10 Pro has some impressive photography skills, but it faces tough competition from these competitors.
