The upcoming Honor Magic 6 series is expected to sport upgraded satellite communication features, according to a company official. In a recent event in China, Honor General Manager Li Kun said that the company has made significant advancements in the area of satellite communication. He added that Honor's new work solves major technical issues involving the antenna size, call duration, and overall communication experience.
Kun also revealed that Honor's satellite communication technology allows users to have a seamless experience with "the smallest antenna size, the most stable signal, and the most power-efficient operation."
This suggests that the Honor Magic 6 series could be the first smartphones to feature miniaturized satellite chips with low-power call and heat dissipation technology.
In addition to upgraded satellite communication features, the Honor Magic 6 series is also expected to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoCs, a Magic Capsule feature similar to Apple's Dynamic Island, and an inbuilt AI-supported chatbot, Yoyo, which is said to work like Google's Bard.
