While Samsung has already rolled out its One UI 6 update based on Android 14 to numerous devices, other manufacturers are just beginning their closed beta testing phases.
Honor, for instance, is now inviting Magic4 and Magic5 series owners to join the closed beta testing program for its upcoming MagicOS 8.0, which is also based on Android 14. Registrations for the beta program are open from today until December 14 in China, with a total of 3,000 slots available for the Magic4 and Magic5 series combined.
Interestingly, Honor has not yet disclosed any of the new features that will be included in MagicOS 8.0, so those who sign up for the beta will be doing so without knowing what to expect.
We anticipate that an open beta will follow shortly, followed by a stable update to Android 14 for at least the Magic4 and Magic5 series. We will keep you updated on any developments.
