Anticipation is growing for the forthcoming iPhone SE 4, set to debut as the successor to the iPhone SE (2022) in 2025. Recent leaks from tipster Nithin Prasad provide a sneak peek into Apple's upcoming affordable offering. The iPhone SE 4 is rumored to harness the power of Apple's A15 Bionic chip, initially introduced with the iPhone 13 series. Furthermore, it's expected to showcase improvements in its camera capabilities, incorporate Face ID support, and feature a USB Type-C port, aligning it with the recently unveiled iPhone 15 lineup.
According to Prasad, the iPhone SE 4 will embrace a larger LTPS OLED display, potentially sourced from BOE or Tianma. This screen is projected to measure 6.1 inches, a notable upgrade from the 4.7-inch panel seen in the iPhone SE (2022).
Under the hood, the device is rumored to be driven by the A15 Bionic chip, already powering a range of Apple products, including the iPhone 14 series, iPhone 13 lineup, and Apple TV 4K (2023). This choice indicates that the iPhone SE 4 might employ a slightly older chip compared to its predecessor, which shared the same chipset as the iPhone 14 models.
