Leaked information from certification websites suggests a new budget phone from Oppo is on the way - the Oppo A60. This phone (model number CPH2631) has been spotted getting certified in Thailand, Indonesia, UAE, and other regions.
While these certifications mostly confirm the name and model number, details about the phone come from other sources. TUV Rheinland certification hints at a large 5,000mAh battery with fast 45W charging, while a listing on Camera FV-5 suggests a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Looking at Oppo's previous A-series releases, the A60 is likely the successor to the 2023 A59. The A59 offered a 6.56-inch LCD display, 13MP rear dual cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It also came with Android 13 and Oppo's ColorOS 13.1 software.
With a rumored 50MP main camera and faster charging, the A60 could be a significant upgrade over the A59. We'll have to wait for the official launch to see all the details, but the leaks suggest a compelling budget phone on the horizon.
