Sure! Here is a bit more in simple English: The new Oppo Reno12 and Reno12 Pro phones have arrived. They have screens that curve on all four edges. The phones are also thinner and lighter than before.

Oppo is updating its popular Reno line with two new models: the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro. These are the first Oppo phones to have a screen that curves on all four sides. They are also thinner and lighter than the Reno11 models but are tougher too.

The Oppo Reno12 has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 1080 x 2412 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This is similar to the previous model, but now the top and bottom edges of the screen are curved as well. The new models also have Gorilla Glass on the front for better protection, a stronger aluminum alloy frame, and are water-resistant (IP65). The screen works even when it and your fingers are wet.

Even with these improvements, the Reno12 is still thinner and lighter than the Reno11, measuring 7.25mm thick and weighing 179g compared to the Reno11’s 7.6mm and 184g. The Reno12 Pro is slightly thicker and heavier at 7.55mm and 183g, but still slimmer and lighter than the previous Pro model.

Both Reno12 phones have 5,000mAh batteries with 80W fast charging. Oppo claims the batteries will keep 95% of their original capacity after 1,000 charge cycles. They both use the same screen, but the Pro model has better cameras, including a 50MP main camera with a high-quality sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The regular Reno12 has a slightly smaller 50MP main sensor.

The Reno12 is powered by the Dimensity 8250 chip, which is a small upgrade from the Reno11's Dimensity 8200. It comes in several versions with different amounts of RAM and storage. The Reno12 Pro uses the more powerful Dimensity 9200+ chip and also comes in different configurations. Both phones use fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The new models have smart AI features in the camera app, like fixing photos if someone blinks, removing unwanted people from shots, and changing backgrounds. They also have an AI assistant that can transcribe and summarize dictations, scan documents, help with math problems, teach English, tutor primary school students, and plan vacations.

The Reno12 comes in Millennium Silver, Soft Peach, and Ebony Black, while the Reno12 Pro is available in Silver Fantasy Purple, Champagne Gold, and Ebony Black.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint reader, NFC, IR blaster, and stereo speakers on the Pro model.|
