The tech world is buzzing with anticipation for the arrival of the Xiaomi Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro 5G. While Xiaomi hasn't made an official announcement yet, these new smartphones have already gained traction, appearing on certification websites like Thailand's NBTC, BIS, and most recently, the FCC.

The FCC listing revealed intriguing information about the Poco X6 Pro 5G, suggesting a possible rebrand of the existing Xiaomi Redmi K70E. This smartphone will run on HyperOS 1.0 and come in three storage configurations. Notably, the build materials differ depending on the storage option chosen.

Specifically, the X6 Pro's 12GB RAM + 512GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB variants will feature a plastic frame, echoing the Redmi K70E. However, the 12GB RAM + 512GB variant boasts a unique PU (polyurethane) build.

While the plastic frame choice may seem unusual for a new Xiaomi Poco phone, it reinforces the speculation of it being a rebranded Redmi K70E. Until official confirmation, it appears the Poco X6 Pro 5G will closely mirror its Redmi counterpart in both build and specifications.

Speaking of anticipated specs, the Poco X6 5G recently surfaced on Geekbench, revealing a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, 12GB RAM, and Android 13. Meanwhile, the Poco X6 Pro 5G is expected to boast a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC.

The camera setup on the X6 Pro is likely to include a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. With a rumored 5,100mAh battery, 67W fast charging, and a starting price of $282, the Poco X6 Pro 5G promises excellent value for money.

We eagerly await official confirmation and further details as these exciting new smartphones near their launch. Stay tuned for more updates!
