Samsung Galaxy A52 Receives October 2023 Security Update

Samsung is rolling out the October 2023 security update to the Galaxy A52, one of its popular mid-range smartphones. The update is available in several Asian and European countries, as well as the United States.

The LTE version of the Galaxy A52 is receiving the update with firmware version A525FXXS6DWI1. Users in Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Thailand, the Caucasus region, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Ukraine, and Vietnam can now download and install the update.

The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy A52 5G is also receiving the October 2023 security update in the United States. The update comes with firmware version A526USQSBEWI5 and is compatible with Comcast, Metro PCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile networks. Additional carriers will be rolling out the update soon.

Samsung Galaxy A52 users in Pakistan will also receive the October 2023 security update soon. Once the update is available, users will receive a notification. To manually check for the update, go to Settings > Software Update > Check for updates.

In addition to the October 2023 security update, Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G users can also expect to receive the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in the coming months. This update will bring new features and improvements to the devices, including a new design, enhanced security, and performance optimizations.
