Samsung has rolled out the first software update for the Galaxy S25 series, bringing important security fixes and a camera improvement for the S25 Ultra. The February update was initially released in Korea for all three models: Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra.

Update Details

The new firmware version (S93xNKSU1AYB3) varies slightly depending on the device model. The update is 585.9MB in size and includes security enhancements and bug fixes. By the time the Galaxy S25 starts shipping in Pakistan after February 20, this update might already be available.

For now, the update is limited to Korea but will gradually roll out to other regions. If you get a new Samsung 5G model, you can check for updates by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install once the phone is connected to the internet.

S25 Ultra Camera Fix

This update is especially important for Galaxy S25 Ultra users as it fixes a camera issue found by some users on Reddit. The S25 Ultra’s night mode had a color banding problem, causing visible gradient lines in dark sky areas instead of smooth transitions.

Samsung has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that the February 2025 update includes a fix. Users should notice an improved night photography experience after installing the patch.
