Samsung launches A05 and A05s

Samsung has quietly introduced its two newest additions to the Galaxy A-series lineup, the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. These sleek smartphones feature expansive 6.7-inch LCD displays, with the A05 boasting an HD+ resolution and the A05s stepping up with a superior FHD+ resolution. In the aesthetics department, the A05s houses a 13MP front-facing camera within a subtle waterdrop notch, while the A05 sports an 8MP selfie shooter.

The major differentiator between these devices lies in their chipset configuration. The A05s packs a punch with the Snapdragon 680, while the A05 is powered by MediaTek's robust Helio G85. Both smartphones offer ample memory and storage options, boasting 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the shared 50MP primary camera (f/1.8) on both models, complemented by a 2MP depth sensor. However, the A05s takes it a step further with an additional 2MP macro shooter for up-close photography. In the battery department, both phones are equipped with a substantial 5,000 mAh battery and support rapid 25W charging. On the software front, users can expect a seamless experience with OneUI Core, based on the latest Android 13.

Samsung offers a range of color options to suit different tastes. The Galaxy A05 is available in classic Black, refreshing Light Green, and sophisticated Silver, while the Galaxy A05s also makes a statement in elegant Violet.

As for pricing and availability details, Samsung has yet to disclose this information, but consumers can anticipate further updates in the coming days. Stay tuned for more information on these exciting additions to the Galaxy A-series lineup.
