Amid the buzz surrounding Vivo's forthcoming foldable smartphone, the company has quietly been working on expanding its mid-range offerings, including the upcoming Vivo Y27s. This new device, identified as model V2322, has recently appeared on Bluetooth SIG, confirming its support for Bluetooth 5.0. While detailed specifications remain undisclosed, it is expected to join the Vivo Y27 series, which made its debut in Malaysia a few months ago. However, the Y27s may feature slightly scaled-down specs compared to its predecessor.

Vivo is gearing up for a significant launch event on October 4, where it will unveil the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro. These devices are anticipated to boast impressive features, including up to 12GB of RAM, a robust 4600 mAh battery, and a triple-rear camera system. What's more, Vivo is set to introduce 80W fast charging technology, promising a full battery charge in just 50 minutes.

As for the existing Vivo Y27, it's currently available in several countries, priced at around PKR 42,500. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. While expandable storage via microSD is not an option, it does come with an Extended RAM 3.0 feature. The Vivo Y27 sports a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and features a dual-rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP portrait sensor. A waterdrop notch houses an 8MP selfie camera. Keeping the device running is a substantial 5000 mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support, while it operates on Fuuncouch 13, based on Android 13.

With the introduction of the Vivo Y27s, the company aims to expand its mid-range portfolio and offer consumers a diverse range of options to choose from in the ever-competitive smartphone market.
