Nokia G42 Overview
Nokia G42, launched on June 28, 2023, is an affordable entry-level smartphone by Nokia. It is available in Gray, and Purple colour.
In terms of the display, the Nokia G42 boasts a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and 90Hz Refresh Rate. It offers a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, providing 269 pixels per inch.
The Nokia G42 is powered by a Octa-core Snapdragon 480+ processor coupled with a Adreno 619 GPU. It comes with 4GB, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.
As regards cameras, the Nokia G42 comes with:
- A single camera on the front side comprising of 8MP.
- A triple camera setup on the rear side featuring 50MP, 2MP and 2MP sensors. The apertures of the rear camera lenses are f/1.8.
- Some of the features of the back camera are HDR, LED flash, panorama, Wide Angle, Auto Focus, Macro Camera, and Depth Camera.
The Nokia G42 runs Android 13 operating system. It also supports Single (Nano-SIM) or Dual (2x Nano-SIM).
Nokia G42 is backed by a 5000mAh Non-removable (Li-Poly) battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging. The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. It supports different sensors such as Accelerometer, Compass, and Proximity.
The Nokia G42 weighs 193.8 grams and measures 6.50 x 2.98 x 0.34 inches (height x width x thickness). The build materials include Front (Glass), Sides (Plastic) and Back (Plastic).
The connectivity options of Nokia G42 include Bluetooth (5.1), Wi-Fi, USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, 5G and Single (Nano-SIM) or Dual (2x Nano-SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.
