Nokia G42

The Nokia G42 is an affordable entry-level smartphone by Nokia. The device is driven by an Octa-core Snapdragon 480+ processor, complemented by an Adreno 619. The Nokia G42 runs Android 13 operating system. It is available in Gray, and Purple colour.

The Nokia G42 boasts a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and 90Hz  Refresh Rate. It offers a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, providing 269 pixels per inch.

Nokia G42 comes with 4GB, 6GB of RAM and storage capacity of 128GB. The handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

As regards cameras, the Nokia G42 comes with:

• A single camera on the front side comprising of 8MP.
• A triple camera setup on the rear side featuring 50MP, 2MP and 2MP sensors. The apertures of the rear camera lenses are f/1.8.
• Some of the features of the back camera include HDR, LED flash, panorama, Wide  Angle, Auto Focus, Macro Camera, and Depth Camera.

Nokia G42 is backed by a 5000mAh Non-removable (Li-Poly) battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. It also packs different sensors such as Accelerometer, Compass, and  Proximity.

The Nokia G42 weighs 193.8 grams and measures 6.50 x 2.98 x 0.34 inches (height x width x thickness). The build materials include Front (Glass), Sides (Plastic) and Back  (Plastic).

The connectivity options of Nokia G42 include Bluetooth (5.1), Wi-Fi, USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, 5G and Single (Nano-SIM) or Dual (2x Nano-SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.
