Vivo V40

The Vivo V40 is a low cost entry-level mobile phone by Vivo. The device is driven by an Octa-core Qualcomm SM7550-AB Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4 nm) processor, complemented by an Adreno 720 . The Vivo V40 runs Android 14 operating system.

The Vivo V40 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen, Multitouch display It offers a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels, providing 466 pixels per inch.

Vivo V40 comes with 8GB of RAM and storage capacity of 256GB. The handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

As regards cameras, the Vivo V40 comes with:

• A single camera on the front side comprising of 16MP. The aperture of the front camera lens is f/1.8.
• Some of the features of the front camera include HDR.
• A triple camera setup on the rear side featuring 50MP sensors. The apertures of the rear camera lenses are f/1.8 and f/4.0.
• Some of the features of the back camera include HDR, and Optical Image Stabilization.

Vivo V40 is backed by a 5500mAh battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. It also packs different sensors such as Accelerometer, Compass, Fingerprint (under display, optical), and Gyro.

The Vivo V40 weighs 189 grams and measures 164.2 x 75 x 7.6 inches (height x width x thickness).
