Although it’s still early, there are some exciting leaks about the upcoming iPhone SE 4. A credible report suggests it will launch in March 2025. One big change is that it will have a larger battery compared to the previous model.
The new iPhone SE 4 might drop the old iPhone 8 design and look more like the iPhone 14. This change will allow for a bigger battery. The leak mentions a 3,279 mAh battery, which is a 60% increase from the 1,821 mAh battery in the SE 3. This means more power and longer usage, similar to the iPhone 16.
There’s also talk of an A18 chip inside the SE 4, which should provide great performance. Additionally, it will feature a USB Type-C port with 20W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
A key reason for the delay in the SE 4’s release is that Apple has been working on its own 5G modem. They want to reduce reliance on Qualcomm and will test their new modem with the SE 4 before using it in future iPhones.
