The Poco X7 Pro was launched globally yesterday, and the good news for Pakistan is that we are one of the first countries to get it. Poco announced on social media that pre-orders are now open on Mistore.pk and will stay open until January 16.
While the base Poco X7 was also launched with the Pro version globally, it hasn’t been confirmed if it will be available in Pakistan yet. But don't worry! We have all the details about both the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro, which will be available here soon.
Poco X7 Pro
As expected, the Poco X7 Pro is basically the same as the Redmi Turbo 4 from China. It has the same Dimensity 8400 chip and up to 12 GB of RAM. In Pakistan, it is available in a 512 GB storage option.
The X7 Pro features a 6.67” screen with a 1.5K resolution. The AMOLED display can get as bright as 3200 nits, and it supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
The phone is very durable, with an IP68 rating, meaning it is dustproof and waterproof up to 1.5 meters deep in water. The 6500mAh battery lasts for over a day, and with 90W fast charging, the battery can be quickly recharged.
The rear camera has a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. The front camera is 20 MP for clear selfies. It also includes an IR blaster, an under-screen fingerprint scanner, and AI features in its HyperOS 2.0 software. The Poco X7 Pro (12GB/512GB) costs Rs 139,999 in Pakistan.
Poco X7
The Poco X7 looks like the Redmi Note 14 Pro, but with a smaller 5110mAh battery. It has almost the same specs as the Pro version, except it uses the older Hyper OS 1.0 and is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip (a mid-range processor).
The X7 also has a 6.67” screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, but the screen is slightly curved. The brightness goes up to 3000 nits, and it supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Like the X7 Pro, the X7 is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, and it has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for better drop protection. The 45W charging keeps the battery charged, and the camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 20 MP selfie camera.
The Poco X7 starts at 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, costing $229 (~PKR 63,000), but it has not been launched in Pakistan yet. Meanwhile, the Poco X7 Pro is available for pre-order in Pakistan for Rs 139,999.
