Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is set to unveil three new high-end devices for the Chinese market on November 29. The K70, K70 Pro, and K70E have been teased by the brand in various ways on Weibo over the past few days.
The Poco X6 Pro will be a rebranded Redmi K70E, according to an NBTC certification in Thailand. The model number 2311DRK48G is associated with the name Poco X6 Pro.
The Indian version of the phone, 2311DRK48I, has also been certified for sale in the country by BIS. This confirms that the Poco X6 Pro will also be launched in India.
The model number for the Redmi K70E is 2311DRK48C. Xiaomi and its various sub-brands have always used the "G" suffix in model numbers to depict globally released devices, while "I" is for India and "C" for China.
The Poco X6 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with "1.5K" resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC and will come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The phone will also have a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 90W charging.
The Poco X6 Pro will be the first phone in the X series to feature such high-end specifications. It will be interesting to see how the phone is priced.
The Redmi K70, K70 Pro, and K70E are expected to be priced starting at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,000), CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 29,000), and CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 34,500), respectively.
The Poco X6 Pro is expected to be priced starting at around Rs. 25,000 in India. The phone is expected to be launched in India in early 2024.
